In the 18th centuary, when Paris' small city cemataries began to run out of space for the dead, the city began to store the bodies in vast under ground catacombs.
These days the catacombs are no longer used, but the city does offer tours, but only around a small area of these expansive underground tunnels. However these inquisitive photographers, known as Urban Explorers headed off the beaten track and took a look around the areas most tourists never see.
