?? - The Temple of Heaven

Located on a marble plateau in a huge garden in the centre of the Chinese capital of Beijing is the Heaven Temple, a 600 year old wooden structure standing 105ft tall without a single nail being used to construct it! The temple itself is a beatiful example of traditional Chinese construction - built according to many traditional rules and supersticions.

Parks and gardens surrounding the temple are beautiful green fields of grass with many trees some of which - such as the famous nine dragons tree - dating from the time in which the temple was constructed.
