The tree, thought to be an Ash or a Hawthorne by conservationinsts, is covered with ivy and this has formed the outline of a chicken.
The animal-shaped tree is situated by a slip road off the A10 near Milton, Cambs., causing many commuters to wonder if someone was playing a prank.
Bob Widd, an arboriculturalist with tree surgery firm Global Tree Solutions, of Willingham, Cambs., said time and weather had formed the tree into its remarkable shape. LINK
