Hogenakkal: The Niagara Falls of India

Nothing soothes the body and mind like a water fall does. Enjoy the bliss that Hogenakkal, a water fall in South India, can offer you. You can bathe, boat and swim, and derive the medicinal benefits its waters bring you as it traverses through thick jungles filled with rare herbs.
At Hogenakkal, an area surrounded by hills, the river bifurcates and drops down as a series of misty waterfalls. You experience blissful euphoria as you watch the lovely panoramic view of river falling down rocky terrains amidst permeating thunderous downpour. LINK, Via: Neatorama, Via: Youtube

Sabre-toothed squirrel

A Niagara Falls woman has a fond regard for a neighbourhood squirrel born with an unusual birth defect.

The squirrel has a strange protruding tooth that looks somewhat like a sabre.

Mary Jo Sutter says she's an animal lover and has been feeding the critter since she was very little.

She also says some of her neighbours on Memorial Parkway are afraid of the squirrel because of her protuding tooth. But, she just loves her and made a video tribute to the squirrel. LINK, Via: Youtube
