Stafford rallies Lions to last-second win over Browns

It was over when ...
Rookie QB Matthew Stafford, aided by a pass interference penalty in the end zone with no time remaining, drove the Lions 88 yards for the game-winning touchdown -- a 1-yard pass to TE Brandon Pettigrew. Jason Hanson's extra point sealed the Lions' dramatic win.

Stafford shook off a left shoulder injury suffered on the game's second-to-last play to throw the game-winning touchdown pass in obvious pain on the next play. It was Stafford's fifth touchdown pass of the day, making him the first rookie QB to accomplish that feat since 1950. Stafford finished with 422 yards and two interceptions on 26 of 43 passing. Amazing Lions

Lions were endemic throughout the middleast, into India. In fact, there are still some lions left in India. Lions were also common in southern Europe. Lions, being plains animals, were easily eliminated by humans. Tigers, more of a mountain/jungle animal, still persist in a wider range.
