The worlds most amazing toy... mechanical engineering

This is one example of Uberstix and what one Uberstix part can do. Actually Uberstix are NOT bendable... the parts are rigid... that is why you can build the twin tower at the end and pick it up... if the parts were bendable, the tower would not be stable... and that's pretty cool from an engineering standpoint... From unsinkable pirate and sail boats to skyscrapers with real blueprints, Uberstix opens up a whole new world and makes anything possible... 8 Uberstix parts will build things that Fly, Float, Sail, and build simple and compound machines and robots 8 Uberstix parts= more than 125,000,000,000,000,000 options. Alleged 2,000-Foot Hot Wheels Track

(Video Link)
This video allegedly shows a Hot Wheels toy track that is fully two thousand feet long. Watch it stretch all over a house, down sidewalks, and through backyards. Oh, to have such a toy when I was a boy!

It was produced on behalf of a foundation that funds research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disorder that effects mainly young boys.

ViewMaster Artist

Everyone has used, seen or, at least, heard of a ViewMaster, the most classic of classic toys. For decades children have peered through the plastic ViewMaster binoculars and been transported to other worlds. As a kid, who didn’t watch a scuffle between Batman and The Joker play out in a myriad of 3D Pows and Whams or become a witness to picnic basket thievery by the infamous Yogi Bear. But who was responsible for creating the contraption’s 3D images?

“Most fans of the tiny fantasy worlds glimpsed through the lens of a View-Master viewer are probably unaware of the name Florence Thomas. Thomas was the Portland, Oregon sculptor employed by the makers of the 3-D viewer to create miniature dioramas of fairy tales and pop culture scenes which she then photographed for reproduction into the iconic circular white reels that have delighted children and adult collectors for decades.”
