"Bonnie Gloris"

Bonnie Gloris was born and raised outside of Albany, New York. She moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design in 2002, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in May 2006. Bonnie is now living in Jersey City, though she commutes to Manhattan daily.

In March of 2007 Bonnie participated in the Scientific Aesthetics exhibition in Minneapolis. It was her second show at the Altered Esthetics gallery – both times her artwork was used for promotional purposes. Most recently she took part in the Faces of Woman exhibition, an international juried show featuring images of women, by female artists.
Bonnie has served as studio assistant to world-renowned illustrator, fine artist, and former chairperson of Parsons School of Design, Barbara Nessim, for the past year. During this time she has completed design work for such clients as The Women’s Media Center, The Norman Rockwell Museum, and the Cynthia Broan gallery.

Bonnie Gloris is pursuing a wide range of artistic opportunities, including freelance illustration, fine arts exhibitions, store window installations, and production of functional art objects. She has a versatile style that encompasses realistic oil painting and drawing, looser mixed media collages, and printmaking.
