My Paper Mind, a “Stratastencil” Animation

An experimental animation in a technique being called "stratastencil" devised by Javan Ivey. Each frame is one piece of 4x6 card stock.
My Paper Mind is a fantastic short film by Javan Ivy. It is made with an experimental animation technique he called "Stratastencil," where stacks of differentially cut paper are used as "frames" in the film. The 30 or so second animation above took about 18 hours to make. LINK, Via: Youtube
