Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Update)

"LINK to the video."

This was fascinating as every motion was so perfectly executed.
The Tomb of the Unknowns (also known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier) is a monument dedicated to American service members who have died without their remains being identified.

Update: Sgt. Adam L. Dickmyer (the one doing the inspection), age 26, was killed in action in Afghanistan on Oct. 28, 2010. RIP.

  1. Adam was my nephew, my sisters son. Words can't describe our grief and the loss of this amazing man. Adam was so proud of his days serving at the tomb of the unknowns. He also believed it was his duty to serve and protect so he volunteered to go to Afghanistan. He knew the dangers however he believed in the effort so that Americans can remain free.Hopefully, American citizens are aware of the sacrifices still being made today by our men and women of the armed forces.

It was an honor for Adam to be laid to rest at Arlington. He loved it there and respected all of the soldiers who came before him. Yes we miss him daily and wish he was still here with us but we find comfort in knowing we will see him again someday. May God bless you and God Bless America.
