On July 17 the Philadelphia Zoo welcomed a giraffe calf, the first born at the zoo in 13 years. The calf made its official debut Tuesday. (Aug. 3). LINK: Youtube

Houston Zoo Grows Another Six Feet
The Houston Zoo's Masai giraffe herd has grown to seven with the addition of a bouncing baby boy. The calf was born to mom Tyra shortly after 8 AM yesterday morning. LINK
