This is a surfing only version (i.e. no interviews etc) of "Powers Of Three." Shot entirely in Ireland. The surfers are Tom Lowe, Fergal Smith and Mickey Smith in sickeningly cold, big, heavy waves. The music in this little remixed version is "Tetra-Sync" by Squarepusher. To watch or download the original movie in full , go to: http://www.relentlessenergy.com/films...
Edgar Wright recently posted this mash-up of Scott Pilgrim and Avatar: The Last Airbender on his blog. It's a great video and, as Wright points out in his post:

Tavie sez, "You have to be impressed by this student film, 'After Today Live'. These kids made an incredibly detailed shot-by-shot remake of the Goofy Movie's opening song, 'After Today' (the hero's 'I Want' song) with live actors instead of animation."
It's impressive work indeed! All produced for $100, too!

This mashup by YouTube user Cody Richeson takes Disney’s 1995 flick A Goofy Movie and re-imagines it as a spooky and surreal David Lynch film. Goofy’s relationship with his son Max is even more disturbing than in the original movie.

My friends and I were bored one day during Christmas Break and decided to make a quick movie. We shot this in 30 minutes and only used 8 minutes of tape. I then proceeded to spend 3 and a half weeks putting in the visuals for the film. Special thanks to the Action Essentials 2 kit from Videocopilot.net, and Jason Lee for his Enterprise model.

Kim Peek, the man who inspired the 1988 movie 'Rain Man,' died last Saturday of a sudden heart attack. Peek, 58, was likely the world's most famous savant, enduring mental handicaps while at the same time possessing extraordinary gifts of memory and recall.
Kim Peek had a photographic or eidetic memory, but also social developmental disabilities, possibly resulting from congenital brain abnormalities. He was the inspiration for the character of Raymond Babbitt, played by Dustin Hoffman, in the movie Rain Man. He was not autistic and likely had FG syndrome. LINK: The Presurfer
