A Day In The Life Of Mark Zuckerberg
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is constantly in the middle of some sort of torrid gossip storm, but his home life appears to be the opposite—it's calm and cozy. Here's a brief look into how he and his girlfriend go through an average day.
This video is part of an interview Mark Zuckerberg did with Oprah when he visited her show to discuss "his amazing $100 million donation to help fix Newark, New Jersey's public education system." It contains a very rare look into the life of the CEO and provides a few small insights such as how much time he spends at Facebook HQ (up to 16 hours a day!) and that he is learning Chinese in preparation for a trip to China with his girlfriend, Priscilla Chan.
Definitely worth a watch—whether you love or hate the man. [BI], LINK: Gizmodo, Via: Youtube

How To Permanently Delete Your Account on Popular Websites
If you’ve ever tried to permanently leave a social networking site and delete all the information in your account, you may have found it t be tougher than you think. Help is at hand!
We all have an increasing number of sites and online services we’re members of, and sometimes it all gets a little overwhelming. At times, we just need to delete our memberships to some sites, either in an effort to simplify our lives or just because we’ve grown tired of a particular site or service.
What we often don’t realize when signing up for all these accounts, though, is how difficult it can be to permanently delete our accounts when we’ve had enough. Some require complicated, multi-step processes that can stretch over the course of days (or weeks). Others take less time, but still require multiple steps by the user.

The World's First Full-Face Transplant // Update of video included
Doctors in Spain have carried out the world’s first full-face transplant. Although there have already been partial transplants, this was the most complex so far:
It appears to include more bone and much more of the lower part of the face.
A spokesperson for the UK’s Facial Transplantation Research Team, which has ethical permission to carry out a full face transplant, said it was “a tremendous achievement”.
“This appears to be the most complex facial transplant operation carried out so far worldwide,” he said.
“It once again shows how facial transplantation can help a small number of people who are the most severely facially injured and for whom reconstructive surgery cannot and has not worked.”

Facebook further reduces privacy control for users
The EFF reports on another ratcheting back of data privacy control for Facebook users: "Today, Facebook removed its users' ability to control who can see their own interests and personal information. Certain parts of users' profiles, 'including your current city, hometown, education and work, and likes and interests' will now be transformed into 'connections,' meaning that they will be shared publicly. If you don't want these parts of your profile to be made public, your only option is to delete them." LINK: Boingboing

What Your Face Reveals About Your Health
What do you see when you look in the mirror? According to Chinese medicine, your face is a window to your health. Your forehead, nose, chin, right cheek, left cheek: each of these five face zones gives you clues to what is going on inside your body - if you know what to look for. LINK

At My Wedding Twitterring and Facebooking at the Altar
This was just done to be funny - we really don't Facebook THAT often :).
I have a lot of family scattered around the country and we all use Facebook a lot to keep in touch. So when Tracy and I were engaged, most of my family found out via Facebook because we updated our statuses.
I surprised not only my guests, but also Tracy by pulling out my phone and posting on Facebook and Twitter from the altar during out wedding.
I had her phone ready in my pocket, so when she asked for it I could hand it to her. No one knew about this except the minister, and myself. LINK: Youtube

The Face in Hogenakkal Falls
Photo: get_debashish [Flickr]
Neatoramanaut Debashish Paul took a photo of a section of Hogenakkal Falls in South India that has a face of a mustachiod man. I know, I know, it’s just pareidolia (the tendency of human brains to see familiar images and faces in objects), but it’s still very cool!
