This video was produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting as part of the Geospatial Revolution Project. This is an integrated public media and outreach initiative about the world of digital mapping and how it is changing the way we think, behave, and interact. This technology touches almost everything in our modern life: how we plan communities, how we find a restaurant, how Obama's election team found likely voters, how we measure climate change, and how we deploy our military.
The project will eventually include eight video episodes and will culminate in a 60-minute documentary. This technology is much more than just what we see on our iPhones and the GPS in our car. The project is hosted here. Link, Via: Youtube

On the website it looks like the trailer is different from the one you have posted from utube. The trailer is down loadable if you want to change it.
