Ever heard of waterfalls that flow upward? Well, it happened in Australia. No, these waterfalls are not flowing upward because gravity got messed up down under – winds are so strong that they are forcing them to run upward. LINK, Via: Youtube

Southern Africa by Air - Victoria Falls

Bushtracks Expeditions - Southern Africa by Air

Although Victoria Falls constitute neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, their claim to be the largest is based on a width of 1.7 km (1 mile) and height of 108 m (360 ft), forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. The falls' maximum flow rate compares well with that of other major waterfalls.

The unusual form of Victoria Falls enables virtually the whole width of the falls to be viewed face-on, at the same level as the top, from as close as 60 m (200 ft), because the whole Zambezi River drops into a deep, narrow slotlike chasm, connected to a long series of gorges. Few other waterfalls allow such a close approach on foot. LINK: Youtube

Lego Creates M.C Escher Waterfall Illusion

Lego bricks can build practically anything…up to a point. we have seen a functional Lego Engine, Operating Lego Fatboy Motorcycle, and now an impossible art piece remake of M.C Escher’s Waterfall illusion.

Created as an advertisement, this specific Lego creation seen at Adsoftheworld remakes a picture which tricks your eyes. It is both beautiful for its tribute to the wonderful artist and also a great Lego artistic piece by itself. LINK: Walyou

Havasupai Indian Waterfall Relaxation

Take a journey to the magical blue-green waters of the Havasupai Indian Reservation, to the healing music of Darshan Ambient. These have to be some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the world. There are three different falls in this video: Havasu, Mooney, and Navajo. It's a ten mile hike through canyon valleys to get there, and it's worth every step.

Check out the stunning photo gallery from Havasupai at http://www.dhuting.com. LINK: Youtube

Stunning Estonia Waterfall Ice World

It may look like a setting from a fantasy or gateway to another world, but this phenomenal scene is actually the Valaste Waterfall — the highest waterfall in Estonia at 85 feet (26 meters) — artificially created by directing the water from a drainage trench to the Gulf of Finland at Valaste, near the Ontika Cliff. Spectacular scene as plunging temperatures freeze North-East river waterfall

They are a stark - and beautiful - illustration of just how chilly the current cold snap has been.
This cascade of icicles, some up to 12 feet long, over a frost-bound riverbank has been found on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
Rambler Colin Anderson, 41, said: "He came round a bend in the river and saw the icicles shining in the early sun. It reminded him of the pipes of a huge cathedral organ." LINK
