AquaDom – The Tallest cylindrical aquarium in the world


AquaDom is the tallest cylindrical aquarium in the world, its an 25 meter tall aquarium cylinder with acrylic glass and it has in built transparent elevator. Aquadom is located at The Radisson Blu hotel in Berlin, Germany. Aquadom complex has offices, restaurant, and the aquarium Sea Life Centre. The construction cost of the Aquadom was about 12.8 million euros, and it was opened in May 2004. Aquarium was built by International Concept Management and acrylic glass cylinder was constructed by Reynolds Polymer Technology. Aquadom is now the central attraction of the Berlin Sea Life Centre. aquarium tank contains 5,000,000 liters of seawater and it contains over 1,500 fish of 50 different species. Everyday 3-4 divers jump into aquarium, to feed the fish and clean the fish tank. the fish in aquarium the need 8 kg of fish food daily. Such moments invariably attract many viewers in the hotel. A Day At The John G. Shedd Aquarium




The John G. Shedd Aquarium is an indoor public aquarium in Chicago, Illinois in the United States that opened on May 30, 1930. The aquarium contains over 25,000 fish, and was for some time the largest indoor aquarium in the world with 5,000,000 US gallons (19,000,000 l) of water. The Shedd Aquarium was the first inland aquarium with a permanent saltwater fish collection. The aquarium has 2 million annual visitors; it was the most visited aquarium in the U.S. in 2005, and in 2007, it surpassed the Field Museum as the most popular cultural attraction in Chicago. Raw Video: Beluga Whale Calf Born at Aquarium




A beluga whale at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium gives birth to a calf. Shortly after the birth, the calf took a breath and began swimming with his mother. The calf was born head first, rare among belugas who are normally born tail first. (Dec. 15). LINK: Youtube

Gigantic Aquarium Tank Holds Four - FOUR! - Whale Sharks




The Churaumi Aquarium in Okinawa, Japan, has a fish tank so big that it’s called the Kuroshio Sea. The gigantic tank is 10 m (33 ft) deep, 35 m (115 ft) wide and 27 m (89 ft) long and holds the equivalent of 3 Olympic-sized swimming pools worth of water.

Car turned into a fish tank aquarium




At the Siam Ocean World in the Siam Paragon shopping center in Bangkok, there is a fabulous car there that cannot be driven. Why? Because it is filled to the top with water!
Dozens of fish call this extremely modified vehicle their home. And just so you know, the doors to this car are welded shut just in case any mischievous person thinks it funny to release that much water and fish onto the mall floor. LINK, Via: Youtube

The Worlds Largest Cylindrical Fish Aquarium




AquaDom, located inside Berlin's Radisson SAS hotel, is touted as the world's largest cylindrical fish aquarium. It stands 82-feet tall, and houses 2600 fish of 56 species. Unlike other fish aquariums, this one has a built-in elevator.
