25-Minute Lego Halo Fan Movie: Watch the Trailer!
Alex Kobbs has spent six years shooting Lego frame-by-frame to create this 25-minute short based on Halo's Zanzibar map.
Called The Battle of the Brick, the movie features Red and Blue battling it out (but of course!), and is an extension of Kobbs' shorter Lego Halo efforts. It's expected to hit the Web early 2010, and you can keep up with the latest over at: [Kooberz Studio Blog, Via: Kotaku, Via: Gizmodo]

The Bladeless Fan

Inventor James Dyson unveiled his latest product earlier this week. While the design aesthetic has garnered universal praise, the main focus has been on the audacious price given the times. Will people pay $300 for a 10″ oscillating fan? Dyson has already found success in delivering high-end products in a tough economic environment. His pricey upright vacuum cleaner debuted in 1993 at the height of a recession. They have since sold more than 31 million units with more than half of that volume achieved in the past three years.

This Chandelier Is Fan-Friggin-Tastic

The enthusiastically titled "Fan-Tastic Chandel-Air" by Meyda lighting combines, you guessed it, a chandelier and a fan into one crazy looking customizable design.
The first design in the series, "Tall Pines at Dusk" features "a Silver Mica shade transformed into a decorative /functional casement for a 29-inch fan." It is also designed to be an energy saver with blades that can reverse direction—pulling hot air up in the summer and pushing it down in the winter. LINK
