Celebrated sex symbol Marilyn Monroe bought this home in 1962 for $90,000 and after six months on, she was found dead, lying naked in her bed with an empty bottle of Nembutal sleeping pills by her side. Located in the swanky Brentwood neighborhood near Beverly Hills, the Spanish colonial revival house spreads over 23,000sq ft of land, and is called the “crown jewel” of the neighborhood. There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and an outdoor swimming pool.
The luxury home is located behind tall gates on a cul-de-sac and is close to San Vicente shops and restaurants and the Sunday Farmer’s Market.
