Tiny Wire Chairs Made With Champagne Caps and Wires

Usually we throw away the wire, which is attached to the bottle of champagne cork. But as it turned out, it is possible to put it into action, even if futile, but very original. The result obtained are tiny chairs with back and seat originalnyo form in the shape of the lid. By the way, you can create this without leaving the table. LINK

Octopus Chair

So you’re looking for just the right chair to accent your demon skin rug. Perhaps something tasteful and subtle that conveys your cosmopolitan demeanor. Well, Spanish artist Maximo Riera has just the chair for you. It’s the first of a series of fifteen works designed to resemble walruses, beetles, rhinoceroses, and other animals.

Circular Bookcase/Chair

Thomas Mills made this piece of furniture which he calls “Long Form Library.” It’s a combination bookcase and reading chair:

As you sit within the cradle, it rocks gently back and forth. Don’t get going too fast or you’ll roll all the way away. This library can hold its own weight in books (and I’d wager even more, by the looks of it), the cushioned seat a nod to the futuristic furniture found in Stanley Kubrick films, especially 2001. Reading lamps are placed for reading in the most obvious manner, while lights placed around the circumference act as a clock, timers changing the brightness of them to its highest at the equinox of the day, dimmed to nothing at midnight. Strange!

The Mood Chair Knows Exactly How Your Buttocks Feels

The Mood Chair is designed by a company called Aether & Hemera and while it doesn't look too comfortable, it's pretty fun because it changes color based on its environment and users. The only trouble is that there doesn't appear to be a chart explaining which color corresponds to which mood.

Guitar chair

The contour of the chair cradles your body, similar to a sports car seat. The body of the chair is a transparent root beer brown color with a lacquer finish. The Guitar Chair is a bent-wood design, formed from dry molded Russian Birch...

The guitar chairs are extremely comfortable. The neck of the guitar is thin enough to miss shoulder blades and, at the same time, provide ample and flexible support. LINK, Via: Boingboing

Chair made out of antique radiators

This fantastic radiator-chair, a one-of-a-kind sculpture from Von Thiel and Co. at a shop in Toronto. At CDN$1,490, it's a little pricier than you might want to spend on a chair that probably won't be all that comfortable for protracted use, but it's a better world that has this radiator-cum-chair in it. Cozy Chair: Part Chair, Part Radiator

It’s easy to stay warm while lying down on the Cozy Chair by Sabine Müller and Andreas Quednau of SMAQ design group: the chair doubles as a radiator!

The chair saves energy by heating only what needs to be heated: you, your slippers and a drink: Link, Via: Neatorama
