One of the most amazing catches you will ever see. The plan was to launch the frisbee out into the water and for the boat to drive up onto it so the 'How Ridiculous' boys can make the catch. However, Derek had other plans giving us the Incredible Speed Boat Catch!

Speed Boat Pool Table
No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you – that is a pool table shaped just like a boat, made by Peter McKee of Master Billiards. He turned a 21-foot speed boat into a $60,000 pool table as a tribute to a water skier who died in a boating accident. LINK: Neatorama, Via: Youtube. About:Blank also has the video clip: Link

THE BOAT SHAPED LIKE A GIANT ZIP
“When Moses thought of parting the sea you can bet he never thought of using a zip. Japanese artist Yasuhiro Suzuki though has created a motorboat designed to look like a giant version of the fastening, with the wake it leaves behind in the water meant to represent its teeth. Suzuki made a scale model of his design back in 2004 but has only now unveiled the full-sized vessel. Describing his creation, the artist said: ‘This work is a boat modeled after a zipper tab. ‘As the vessel glides through the water, the wake looks like a zipper coming undone, suggesting the image of the sea opening up. ‘The Zipper Ship will travel to and fro between Takamatsu and Megijima [in Japan] and will also carry passengers.” w/ photos. Plastiki, A Boat Made from Plastic Bottles, Sails for Australia from California
The Plastiki is a boat made from recycled plastic bottles. It was built by a team led by David de Rothschild in order to call attention to the value of recycling. It set sail on Saturday from Sausalito, California and is heading for Australia:
The Plastiki, named in honor of Norwegian explorer Thor Hyderdahl’s raft Kon Tiki, is a boat like no other in the world. Besides the hull of recycled plastic water and soda bottles, the vessel is made of a hardened plastic called PET.
The boat is a twin-hulled catamaran rigged as a ketch. It will rely on the wind for propulsion and has only a small auxiliary engine. No such boat has ever made an ocean passage before.
The Plastiki was built on the San Francisco waterfront in 2009 and has been making trial voyages on the bay.

World's Largest Solar-Powered Boat
PlanetSolar is a boat powered entirely through solar energy. At 31 meters long and 15 wide, it’s the largest in the world:
The 60 tonne catamaran (or is that trimaran?) has cost 18 million euro ($24.4 million USD) to create at the Knierim Yacht Club in Kiel in northern Germany and will be launched waterside next month with sea trials due between June and September. To achieve to full photovoltaic capture there are solar covered flaps that are extended at the stern and amidships.
SunPower has provided approximately 38,000 of their next generation all black photovoltaic cells, an efficiency of at least 22%, which they believe to be the highest efficiency solar cells commercially available. Maybe it’s buried somewhere on the PlanetSolar site, but I missed what storage medium the boat will use once it has harnessed the sun’s energy.

Stealthy anti-whaling powerboat
That is not Batman's boat but rather Earthrace, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's ultraslick bio-diesel-powered anti-whaling speedboat. It's 80-feet long and very stealthy. Next month, it will head out to the seas around Japan to, er, protest the country's whaling industry. Life magazine has photos of Earthrace currently docked in Auckland, New Zealand. ‘Lucky Dragon’ fire-breathing boat in Osaka
Post-apocalyptic artist Yanobe Kenji has constructed an animatronic fire-breathing dragon boat for the ongoing Aqua Metropolis festival in Ōsaka.
Named “Lucky Dragon,” the 15-meter (49-ft) long aluminum cruise boat is outfitted with a 7-meter (23-ft) tall mechanical dragon that moves its neck and wings, spits fire and water, and flashes glowing red eyes. The boat is scheduled to entertain onlookers with periodic fire-breathing performances in the local waterways (Ōkawa river and Dōtonbori canal) until October 12. LINK, Via: Youtube

Guitar Boat
Australian musician Josh Pyke has a curious boat: it’s shaped like a giant guitar!
Josh’s voyage on board the SS Maton - named after Australian guitar manufacturer Maton, who designed the curious vessel - was caught on film for the video that will be coming out with his new single Make You Happy.
It is a giant-sized replica of the acoustic instrument Josh uses in the video.
Dressed in ancient mariner’s clothes, Josh, a maritime history fan, did not even get his feet wet as he cruised among the yachts and the ferries crossing the harbour.
