Radiohead - House of Cards

In Radiohead's new video for "House of Cards", no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.

LED Guitar Helps Beginners Learn To Play Like A Pro

Learning to play guitar usually means watching someone else place their fingers in the right spots and attempting to copy, then trying to remember where the heck you’re supposed to put them all when it comes time to play that chord again. That’s why this Fretlight LED guitar from Optek Music Systems seems like a fun and easy way to learn how to play. LED lights show you the proper finger placement for whichever song you’re playing, so you just have to follow the little red lights and you’ll be playing in no time. It’s like your own private tutor and light show all rolled into one!

Beautiful Time-Lapse Footage Of Red Aurora Australis

Red Aurora Australis from Alex Cherney on Vimeo.

{Description from the person that posted this.} LINK, Via: Vimeo After chasing it for more than two years I was finally rewarded with two displays of Aurora Australis (Southern lights) within a week visible from Mornington peninsula, not far from Melbourne. The nights were warm an clear and the Moon was not in the sky either - I could not have asked for better conditions. The red color of this aurora is caused by the charged particles from the Sun exciting oxygen atoms high in the Earth's atmosphere. Hopefully there will be more to come as Sun's activity increases in 2012-13. Being able to photograph it all night I came up with a nice video. The brighter Aurora happened on January 22nd and the smaller one, featured in the middle section, was from January 16th, followed by a rather bright Moonrise. Nature in Norway, Northern Lights in Tromsø, in HD

Nature in Norway, Northern Lights also called Polar Lights or Aurora in Tromsø, in HD
An aurora is a natural light display in the sky, particularly in the polar regions, caused by the collision of charged particles directed by the Earth's magnetic field. An aurora is usually observed at night and typically occurs in the ionosphere. It is also referred to as a polar aurora or, collectively, as polar lights. These phenomena are commonly visible between 60 and 72 degrees north and south latitudes, which place them in a ring just within the Arctic and Antarctic polar circles. Auroras do occur deeper inside the polar regions, but these are infrequent and often invisible to the naked eye. LINK: Youtube

Interpol - Lights directed by Mr. Charlie White

"QUOTE" Disturbingly decadent video for Interpol’s new single, Lights. I’ve always admired this band for its original sound and sense of style, and their willingness to push boundaries translates well to this music video, directed by artist and photographer, Charlie White. Though somewhat abstract, the visuals of Lights are quite arresting and do engage you. It’s nice sometimes to leave the audience with questions and perhaps allow them to create their own story. Out Of The Kitchen And Into The Christmas Tree Lights

On every side of the street you can see the wonder of Christmas as people string the lights with their families and celebrate the holiday season. However, for some, just decorating some trees instead of a homestead is perfection.

Nabana no Sato park in japan

An estimated 4.5 million light-emitting diodes offer an amazing spectacle at the Nabana no Sato theme park in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, on Saturday. The annual winter light show is scheduled to run until March 8. Kyodo. This year’s theme is flowers. The water illumination is out of this world. Here the beautiful sound of the river with vivid color changing-the-art LED technology enables a production of 64 billion colors. The rapidly changing colors actually look more like the flow of the river in front of our eyes. The pond is located in the heart of the Village but can be seen from all over the place. LINK

Rabbit-Shaped Police Lights

The Osaka Prefectural Police Department this year has reportedly purchased 800 rabbit-shaped roof-mount strobe lights for use on special patrol cars that cruise the streets around schools. Custom-built by warning equipment manufacturer Patlite, the blue bunny beacons are designed to win the admiration of children while they send the bad guys packing. LINK
