Papercraft Stop Motion Animated Music Video about Star Wars

(Video Link)
Jeremy Messersmith composed and performed a love song entitled “Tatooine”. It begins like this:

Twin suns of Tatooine
Taught me everything I know
Twin suns of Tatooine
Taught me everything I know

There’s room up there for second chances
Singles are fine but doubles are fantastic
I’d like to think that there’s a star for me and you
Spinning round, falling for one another

Papercraft animator Eric Power made this music video for it. It tells pretty much the entire original trilogy in two minutes and a half minutes.

The United States of Star Wars

Rebecca Crane matched the geography of US states with planets in Star Wars to create a composite map of the United States. Texas is Kessel, Oregon is Endor, and Maine is Naboo. Crane writes:

Planets were assigned based on partial terrain, landmarks that correlate with the planet and state, types of people in the state and planet, famous landmarks, or slightly randomly selected (but loosely based on facts) from my brother and myself.

Lego Star Wars Foosball Table

Whatever you get when you combine games, Star Wars, and Lego construction has to be awesome. When it’s big and useful, it’s doubly awesome! Stefan built a foosball table completely from Lego bricks, and manned it with Star Wars minifigs. The game is completely playable, too! Link, -Via: Coolest Gadgets, Via: Neatorama

Star Wars vs. Star Trek

(YouTube Link)

Check out this excellent quick flick put together by Lamb Productions.

My friends and I were bored one day during Christmas Break and decided to make a quick movie. We shot this in 30 minutes and only used 8 minutes of tape. I then proceeded to spend 3 and a half weeks putting in the visuals for the film. Special thanks to the Action Essentials 2 kit from Videocopilot.net, and Jason Lee for his Enterprise model.

Lego R2-D2 Minifig Mod Adds Sound and Light

"QUOTE" Sorry Jason. You trumped my LED Lego stormtrooper minifig with your cylon and Iron Man, but this modded R2-D2 Lego minifig kills them all with lighting and actual Star Wars astromech sounds. [Brickmodder Via: FBTB Via: Brothers Brick] Via: Gizmodo, Via: Youtube

WWII Star Wars Action Figures

If the story of Star Wars had been set in World War II, these would be the action figures sold to support the movies. This set of action figures was customized by Sillof. Yes, he could’ve cheated and substituted Indiana Jones for Han Solo, but he didn’t. See the collection at Gizmodo. Link
