Dolphin birth captured on camera in Hawaii

A dolphin has been filmed giving birth to a female calf in a Hawaii resort.
Footage of the birth shows the calf emerging from its mother tail first before immediately swimming off.
The birth occurred in a man-made lagoon at Dolphin Quest Hawaii, where visitors can swim with dolphins.
The dolphin calf will be monitored closely over the next 30 days as this is the most critical period for the new-born, Julie Rocho-Levine from Dolphin Quest Hawaii said.
The baby dolphin will be named when it is one month old, officials said.

World War 2 Japanese Super-Submarine Found In Hawaii

According to Dr Hans Van Tillburg, "[the I-201 submarine] was nothing like anybody had in the Second World War. It had a streamlined body and conning tower and retractable gun." They just found it in Hawaii. [National Geographic, Via: Daily Mail, Via: Gizmodo]

"Coqui monsters" in Hawaii

Kilauea Volcano Erupts - Dramatic Video

Kilauea is the youngest and southeastern most volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. Topographically Kilauea appears as only a bulge on the southeastern flank of Mauna Loa, and so for many years Kilauea was thought to be a mere satellite of its giant neighbor, not a separate volcano. However, research over the past few decades shows clearly that Kilauea has its own magma-plumbing system, extending to the surface from more than 60 km deep in the earth.

Hawaiian Meaning
The Hawaiian name "Kilauea" means "spewing" or "much spreading," apparently in reference to the lava flows that it erupts. Eruptions have been Continuous since January 3, 1983. It is estimated that the first eruption of Kilauea
has between 300,000 and 600,000 years ago. LINK: Youtube
