This is just the right way to start the day! Look at the top of the picture. The bedroom is on the other side of the glass. Roll out of bed, drop into the waterslide, and head into the pool. This luxury home (for sale!) in Bowdon, UK, has everything one could ask for.

Gorillaz - "Rhinestone Eyes" storyboard and preview

Before enjoying the full upcoming video from the UK band Gorillaz, let's have a look to the way Jamie Hewlett works. In this Rhinestone Eyes'storyboard, no special effects, just sketches and quick drawings to preview the story main ideas. Just about the story, Murdoch still has issues, Noodle comes back for real, she seems to be pissed off, loaded and a giant Russel Hobbs fought a whale. A future classic Hewlett's cartoon. Colossal Temenos Sculpture Unveiled

Quite an amazing new sculpture has been unveiled in the UK. It is called Temenos and it is the work of sculptor Anish Kapoor. It has been unveiled in the city of Middlebrough as an inspirational work - and it is certainly enormous, that is for sure!
Towering at fifty meters high the colossal piece of art is part of a drive to regenerate the city and to encourage visitors. As a post industrial work of art it certainly works, but many are a little upset that so much money (5 million US dollars) have been spent at a time when the economy is hardly thriving. LINK

Susan Boyle's debut album makes UK chart history

Singer Susan Boyle's album is number one after it became the best-selling debut in UK chart history.
Boyle, runner-up in ITV's Britain's Got Talent, has sold 410,000 copies of I Dreamed a Dream, beating the likes of Leona Lewis, Lady GaGa and Rihanna.
Pop mogul Simon Cowell said he was proud of his protege, adding: "She did it her way and made a dream come true."
The Official UK Singles Chart was topped by Peter Kay's charity single for the BBC's Children in Need appeal.
The Animated All Star Band, featuring a host of children's characters from Postman Pat to the Wombles, climbed to the top spot from last week's number 18.
The highest new entry was Rihanna's Russian Roulette at number six.
Boyle also made an appearance in the singles chart, entering at number nine with her Rolling Stones cover Wild Horses.
Boyle, 48, said the news was "fantastic". LINK

Father uses son's ashes in tattoo

A father from Herefordshire is to have a portrait of his dead son tattooed on his chest using the child's ashes.
Mark Richmond, 39, and his wife Lisa, 31, said they wanted to do something as a lasting tribute to their son Ayden.
He had a rare condition which meant he was unable to process fats and died in 2005, aged two years and four months.
The couple, who own a tattoo parlour in Greater Manchester, plan to mix some of Ayden's ashes in the ink for a 7in black and white portrait of him.
He said: "Some people might think it's a bit morbid, but until they have been through what we have, I don't think they can really judge us." LINK

UK Toy Master Builds House From Legos

James May, a toy fanatic from the UK (who has his own TV show), built a real house from Legos.
This two-story Lego palace, which resides in the middle of a vineyard, sports a working bathroom, and is covered inside and out with bricks pieced together by 272 Legos. Over three million bricks were used to build the Lego pad, so doing some quick math here — that's over 816 million Lego pieces! Sheesh. I wonder what they'll do with the Legos once James moves out?
Check out more photos of the Lego house when you go to the LINK.

Farmer builds Big Ben replica in his field from 50 bales of straw

Closer inspection reveals that this is a rustic copy of the Victorian landmark, built on a farm using more than 500 bales of hay - and featuring a working clock. Although its faces are illuminated at night there are only two - both facing the road - rather than the four of the real thing.
The 70ft Big Ben sculpture, made with over 500 bales weighing over 20 tonnes, dominates the view on the A51 road between Nantwich and Chester in Cheshire
Little Ben: The sculpture, which has a working clock, was built in celebration of summer and heralds the 150th anniversary of the famous London landmark. Previous straw creations have included a rocket and a windmill. LINK

The Seasonal Transformer House

A man in the UK has designed and built a house that can go from greenhouse to styling walled home with the push of a button. A brilliant and beautiful piece of design.
The 20 ton mobile roof and wall enclosure is moved using four electric motors powered only by standard car batteries. It measures 52ft long, 20ft wide and 23ft high.
'In the winter we will have the roof pulled over to keep up warm,' Mr Russell, 48, said.
'But on a summer evening it is a magical experience to be able to pull the roof back and sit in the sunshine.' Link , Via: Neatorama
