R1 Go Kart Passes a Cop

This BEAST is finally for sale after years of people begging me to sell it. The price is $4,995 or $5,300 includes shipping it to you anywhere in the United States. Email/message this channel to inquire about purchasing this monster. This is a one of a kind custom frame built specifically for this engine. One of the previous owners told me the gentlemen that bought it from him had it up to 170mph. This kart is wicked. WATCH TILL THE END, A POLICE CAR PASSES IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!! If your impatient to watch 10 minutes of video, skip to 7:50 and watch till the end for the best part. 2005 Yamaha R1 Sport Bike engine in a Beisse Shifter Kart. Around 180 HP, weighs about 220lbs. Previous owner had Kart up to 181 mph before a tire blew out. Using GoPro Hero High Def camera with adhesive mount. NOTE: The rear tires are worn out so the driver didn't do anything to crazy. The ending was edited out to protect the driver, what you missed was the kart driving into a garage door that was purposely left open 3-4 feet, the driver gets out and rushes to close the door. Location: Northern Michigan
Here are a couple videos of the previous owner; where the speedo read 181mph and spun out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmH4ZwwnXCk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV-dwsWh0NQ&feature=related

Hundreds ride with boy to show support for his U.S.-flag-decorated bike after school banned it

Courtesy KOVR:

It wasn't this California boy's usual ride to school this morning!
Hundreds of other bike riders came along---
Many of them veterans, and some from out of state, all wanting to show support to 13-year-old Cody Alicea.
School officials had told Cody he shouldn't ride his American flag-decorated bike to school because some students were offended.
That kicked up a firestorm of protest.
The school superintendent has since apologized, and promised that something like that will not happen again. LINK: Youtube

But the school district is now facing a lawsuit from a civil liberties group.

Busker Turns Bike into Travelling Drum Kit

David Osborne has turned his bike into a travelling musical instrument. It takes 20 minutes to transform his bike into a drum kit with 5 cymbals, 3 snare drums and a foot pedal. He can transport everything he needs for his gigs on just two wheels.

This is Puncturekit also known as David Osborne. This was filmed on Charing Cross Road on the 1/2/2009 in sub zero temperatures. But nothing seemed to stop this guy entertaining a crowd full of shivering onlookers, most of which were heading towards China Town to celebrate the Chinese new Year. This has got to be one of the most unique ways of busking, as when he's done he just turns the whole thing over and rides off home!!!! LINK, Via: Vimeo
